Janis Stone - SFResidence.comSFResidence is part of the TRI Coldwell Banker office at 1699 Van Ness in San Francisco which is one of the premier offices in the City and has the market share numbers to prove it. We have some of the top agents selling real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a result, our office posts some impressive numbers.

Once again we were surprised at the number of deals that were made in these waning days before Christmas and New Year’s Day. Typically during this time of year, people leave town and stop buying and selling. But this year maybe they are staying home and trying to downsize. Or maybe their Christmas present this year is a new home. Either way, it was a great week for our office sales. This is our last TRI report until next year.

Here are the numbers for the week of 12/16/09:

  • 2 new listings ($499,000 and $985,000)
  • 13 ratified sales (pending) (average price $1,085,543, low $549,000, high $1,950,000, 4 confidential)
  • 17 closed sales (average price $1,349,553, low $530,000, high $3,300,000, 1 confidential)
  • 2 price reduced ($1,995,000 and $2,850,000)
