San Francisco Real Estate Market Update for
January 2006

The number of Single Family Homes sold for January decreased from December in San Francisco Real Estate. Average listing and selling prices were both down from the previous month and lower than a year ago. The average selling price was slightly over 100% of the average listing price.

The number of Condominiums sold in January also decreased significantly from December in the San Francisco Real Estate Market. The average selling price was surprisingly UNDER 100% of the average listing price. But the average selling price was higher than the previous month as well as a year ago.

The number of homes sold in the Overall Sales category for January in San Francisco Real Estate decreased from December but about the same as a year ago. The average selling price was also slightly UNDER 100% of the average listing price, and lower compared to last month as well as a year ago.
