Market Update: March 2003

The San Francisco Real Estate Spring Market has continued at a steady pace. The average sales price in Single Family Dwellings has decreased 10% but the number of sales has increased 30% and the Sales price is often over the Asking price. In Condominiums the average sales price is up about 5% and the number of sales is up almost 22%! The Overall Market number of sales is up almost 22%. So the buyers are still paying over asking prices but the average sales price is slightly lower.

Interest rates continue to be at all time lows which has helped our market strength. San Francisco Real Estate continues to be a great investment.
