San Francisco Real Estate Market Update for
July 2007

The number of Single Family Homes sold for July dipped slightly from June in San Francisco Real Estate. The average listing price was a bit lower than the previous month and much higher than a year ago. But the number that counts is the The average selling price was almost 105% of the average listing price, more than a month ago and much more than a year ago. The average days on the market increased slightly to 38.

The number of Condominiums sold in July decreased from June in the San Francisco Real Estate Market, however, the average selling price was over 103% of the average listing price. The average listing and selling price were both lower than last month, but much higher than a year ago. The average days on the market improved slightly to 42.

The number of homes sold in the Overall Sales category for July in San Francisco Real Estate dropped slightly from June but was better than a year ago. The average selling price was over 103% of the average listing price, but, on average, lower than last month. But compared to a year ago, the average sales price was much higher. The average days on the market increased slightly to 43.

Summer been a bit slower than we thought it might be, but this is mostly due to a shortage of of inventory. If you are thinking about selling, this is a great time!
