San Francisco Real Estate Market Update for
December 2006

The number of Single Family Homes sold for December decreased from November in San Francisco Real Estate once again showing that the holiday market is truly here. Average listing and selling prices were both up from the previous month and higher than a year ago. The average selling price was slightly over 101% of the average listing price.

The number of Condominiums sold in December also decreased significantly from November in the San Francisco Real Estate Market. The average selling price was surprisingly UNDER 100% of the average listing price. But the average selling price was higher than the previous month as well as a year ago.

The number of homes sold in the Overall Sales category for December in San Francisco Real Estate decreased from November as well as a year ago. The average selling price was slightly over 100% of the average listing price, and lower compared to last month as well as a year ago.
