Can you say "Happy Valentine's Day" already? Seems like it was just New Year's and now the groundhog has spoken! Expect an early Spring. Where does the time go?

San Francisco real estate seems poised for a great Spring market. All indicators show that people are getting ready to sell and there have been a lot of buyers out there since late last year so the anticipation is high. It's like everyone is suddenly waking up... kind of like the groundhog.  We are even getting multiple offers again.

The February Real Estate Market Report for January is now available on our website. Remember, these numbers generally reflect the sales that were made in December with a typical 30 day close. Sales volume didn't change much from last report, but was more active than a year ago. However, even though average sales price was lower than a year ago, it was a little better than last month. Look at January's sales history here.
