Our May market report for April activity shows that the market softened slightly from the March bounce we got. Even so, the single family homes under $2M were again the strongest category with sales prices exceeding listing prices. it is easy to assume, therefore, that multiple offers for that particular niche are becoming more and more common.

I think that because of the weather and all of the rain the spring buying season has started a little late.  But we are now beginning to see great open house activity and even multiple offers for some of the better priced homes.  Even though the first time buyer federal credit has ended it has not seemed to affect the buyer's interest in San Francisco properties.  I must encourage you to visit our website 468 filbert to see the most fabulous home on Telegraph Hill--the Telegraph Hill Tree House!
