We are releasing our newsletter a few days early so our monthly sales recap for July will be online at our website on Friday. What we expect it to show is that the home values in San Francisco are holding steady, though the deals are taking longer to make. Surprisingly, the luxury market of homes priced over $2M dollars is still doing very well. This is a perfect buyers' market. Who knows how long it will last?
We are so fortunate to be in San Francisco. First of all many of the our areas are still appreciating and some houses are even selling over the asking price. The high end of our market is doing very well and the confidence in our real estate is strong. However there are a lot of people who are not so lucky and it is nice to be able to give back. Coldwell Banker is sponsoring the BIG GIVE which benefits local Habitat for Humanity Chapters. Raffle tickets are available for $2.00 (yes, just $2.00 each) and you can buy as many as you want as a donation--there is no limit! The grand prize is $5,000 and the deadline is Friday, September 12, 2008. Make the checks payable to "CBRB Community Foundation" (You must be at least 21 yeas of age--ah, to be so young!) I will do all the work and send in your name and fill out the tickets, just send the checks in care of me to 1699 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94109 and of course include your name, address and phone number so I can call you when you win the $5,000!! Thank you in advance for your generosity. It feels good to help someone else have a home.
One of the reasons for our early release is the low response we had from our last Giants Ticket offering. Some of the games went unclaimed, so we wanted to get the word out early. Our Giants are not doing as well as we'd hoped, but they are not playing that badly for a bunch of young guys. And they are fun to watch... win or lose! So don't be shy. Check the schedule below and claim your tickets!
