We are pleased to announce the addition of a real go-getter to our team. Paula A. Mulhall comes to us from McGuire Real Estate in San Francisco. She brings with her years of experience in finding the perfect homes for her buyers and has listed and sold properties in some of the top areas of San Francisco as well as other parts of the Bay Area! We know you'll be excited to meet her.
As
for the San Francisco market, despite the negative news about mortgage
rates and foreclosures, our over $1M homes are still selling well... If
we only had more. Inventory is low and this could account for the drop
off in volume we've been experiencing.
A reminder that we have a strong network of agents in other areas to whom
we can refer with confidence. We've already sent some happy buyers and
sellers outside of San Francisco, so if you or someone you know needs
to buy or sell property somewhere else in the country, keep us

It is very exciting to be working with a new associate who brings energy,
personality and experience. Paula was referred to me by a close friend

In my 32 years in real estate I have had several experiences working with
another person and I always have found that it invigorates me. I am looking

This
past week I attended a very interesting speech by Gary Watts, "2007
The Real State of Real Estate". His presentation was full of interesting
facts regarding the current real estate market, and I thought I would pass
along a few points regarding the Bay Area:- The media says real estate is going down, yet July's prices for single-family homes in California were up 3.2% from last year. From August of last year, the Bay Area's medium home prices rose 4%.
- The Bay Area ranks in the top 5 U.S. areas for Asian immigrant growth.
- The Bay Area's employment is growing at approximately 1.8% yearly, which adds 50,800 jobs.
These are just 3 of many facts from Gary Watt's presentation - and his main point is clear: Buyer's "should not hesitate" in buying a home or investment property.

Giants Tickets
Thank you to all who participated in our Giants ticket giveaway. We hope
you enjoyed the games though the season was somewhat disappointing. Even
so, we got to witness history as Barry Bonds broke the home run record.
Though he won't be back next year, we expect the money is freed up will
bring some excellent talent to the Bay Area, and with that, a run for
the National League Pennant.
